Lost Seaplane Base Project

We’ve done historic research on Lost Seaplane Bases and are working to re-open as many as practical.

The WSPA was founded by Richard Woodin in the 1970s.  It was founded with the express purpose of fighting the impending closure of the Alpine Lakes in the Cascades to seaplanes for environmental reasons.
